Jennifer Otis, MA, LMHC    781.738.5529 | jenn@mindwelltherapy.com

Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in the psychiatric field working with adolescents and adults. Jenn’s special interest is helping people identify their strengths and exploring how to use them to find meaning and contentment in their lives. Through creation of a supportive and nurturing foundation, clients can explore and experience coming back to their authentic selves. This is done by exploring what life experiences mean for them and then clearing a path to align with the present, thus creating the opportunity to move forward with an individual focus on naming the strengths that already exist. Gaining an understanding of patterns within relationships can be a powerful way to allow for shifts in a person’s way of being in the world, and Jennifer creates a space in which clients can safely examine patterns that make them feel stuck. Jennifer also specializes in helping clients through issues with relationships, separation/divorce, and parenting.

Jennifer earned a BA in psychology from Gordon College, and an MA in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University. She is a member of the New England Center for Existential Therapy. Over the last 15 years, she has worked with adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of capacities including outpatient counseling, home-based care and crisis intervention.
